Can you reconfigure you space to allow for a new product range?

How will technology effect how you use your space?

What really needs to change and what can be fairly tightly designed around your current pattern of use?

Most people ask for flexibility. Most don’t know the implications of what it means. Many don’t physically need it in the short term, but most will need it next year and the year after that.

Interior design needs to be more about mixing short term specificity with medium term change, even if we don’t know exactly what the change might be.
