-Keep structure simple at first to allow for specialisation later.
-Provide a basic building for people to come in and invent upon over time.
-Use and human activity bring a building to life, not visionary architecture.
-Allow for a number of different future scenario’s in the buildings future. Yes, even ones that frankly seem ridiculous.
-Design for human nature. Design for change.
